The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) will hold a hearing on the Florida’s proposed rule to ban Medicaid funding for treatments for gender dysphoria on Friday, July 8.
The proposed rule will ban Medicaid funding for surgeries, puberty blockers and reverse-
hormone treatments, which have been shown to be both medically unnecessary and extremely
harmful, especially to minors, causing irreversible physical and psychological damage. The
